My Build Sheet (rough draft)

Alrighy ive done almost all the research i can do and am ready to start purchasing the little things for my build before i pre deploy and then deploy to afghan within the months ahead.

Build goes as follows:

Hellion Turbo Kit with 62mm billet wheel - 6,000
Patriot Heads - 1,600
Turbo Stage 2 Cams - 700 (dont know a good brand to go with)
Valve Springs - 210
Valve Covers - 260
BBK 78mm TB/PLN - 270
Edelbrock EFI Intake - 330 (not sure if i need this or if its compatible with TB)
Edelbrock 60lb Injecs - 430
Edelbrock Fuel Rail - 110 (not sure on these either)
Twin GT Fuel Pumps - ($) ????
Cobra Fuel Tank - ($) ????
MM K-Member - 995
Turbosmart 2 Boost Controller - 550
MM MotorMounts - 85
Ford Racing 90MM MAF - (not sure if i need this)
Spec Stage 3+ - 440 ( or twin disk if time and money permit )
Fidanza FW - 275
Viper Spec T56 - 3700
D12 T56 Aluminum DriveShaft (31 T-yoke w/ 8.8 flange) - 500
3:55 Gears - 175

I am definitley going to upgrade my crankshaft and pistons etc. just need to figure out the best products for all of those which i have time to do. suspension mods will come later since i will not be doing the stupid stop light to stop light racing and dont go to the track at all since ours sucks ASS out here!!!! Going to start out at low boost and work my way up to around 550hp

Oh well any input on things that wont go together or would be better is appreciated!!!!!!!

Thanks People!

Build goes as follows:

Hellion Turbo Kit with 62mm billet wheel - 6,000 - Good
Patriot Heads - 1,600 I'd go with MHS heads and cam combo
Turbo Stage 2 Cams - 700 (dont know a good brand to go with) above
Valve Springs - 210 comes with heads
Valve Covers - 260 stock?
BBK 78mm TB/PLN - 270 good
Edelbrock EFI Intake - 330 I suggest Victor Jr
Edelbrock 60lb Injecs - 430 go with 80's
Edelbrock Fuel Rail - 110 (not sure on these either)get the Jictor Jr.
Twin GT Fuel Pumps - ($) ???? fine..a Fore hat will go well with them
Cobra Fuel Tank - ($) ???? find it used or new(lethalperformance has them i think. A bap is a good idea for the future and you need 2 FPDM
MM K-Member - 995 I'd go PA racing or Team Z if you drag race
Turbosmart 2 Boost Controller - 550 (I can hook you up cheaper)MM MotorMounts - 85 fine
Ford Racing 90MM MAF - (not sure if i need this) kit comes with a MAF
Spec Stage 3+ - 440 ( or twin disk if time and money permit )
Fidanza FW - 275
Viper Spec T56 - 3700
D12 T56 Aluminum DriveShaft (31 T-yoke w/ 8.8 flange) - 500
3:55 Gears - 175 (find used)
idk much about the tranny stuff but a Viper spec t56 is badass

PM me for Manley stuff
I am definitley going to upgrade my crankshaft and pistons etc. just need to figure out the best products for all of those which i have time to do. suspension mods will come later since i will not be doing the stupid stop light to stop light racing and dont go to the track at all since ours sucks ASS out here!!!! they are better, and for someone that is going to buy a 6k turbo kit and be 4.5k into a tranmission swap, im sure the couple 100 extra for a better set of heads shouldnt be an issue.

patriot heads are stock heads worked over. the only true aftermarket head is the trickflows. unless you need to drive your car i'd send them out to mhs or livernois before getting patriots just because it's an un-needed expense.

Manley h-beams, Manley Patinum pistons, rings, king bearings, cobra forged crank, mellion oil pump, stock w/p will be fine, stock oil pan is fine. Maybe someone can suggest a good set of head/intake gaskets. I have yet to research them much.

I'd so the MHS combo man. All together with degreed cams and your set. Open the box and install 50plus hp

not to steal your thread but you mentioned billet wheels for the turbo can someone elaborate what a billet wheel does in comparison to the wheel already included in the turbo

billet wheel ftw.... scott can chime in here but basically the aerodynamics of it and the quality of it are the better. it's to my understanding that you can push more psi with a billet wheel and it's stronger too? sorry I've only worked at precision turbo for a week still learning haha ps.... nice build list.

Also budget 700-1000 for that whole cobra tank set up and pumps

Your list looks good. I would focus on the parts that strengthen your drivetrain before everything else. A built engine, tough transmission and 31 spline rear end will be essential if you plan on pushing 550 horsepower eventually.

Manley, JE and Diamond all make really good pistons for turbo cars. Do your self a favor and get ones with valve notches or have them notched unless you plan on going with trickflow heads. Otherwise it will hinder your cam selection quite a bit.

haha no one could steal this thread cuz any question asked is not only gonna teach whoever asks but me as well.

sounds like a plan, ive always heard notched pistons were the shit and im gonna do more research on brands for all my internals but MHS looks pretty freakin bad ass from what im reading. im all about doing it right the first time which is why i made this list a year out.

I believe the edelbrock intake has a 4150 flange which won't work with the bbk or stock type plenums. I think there is an adapter plate but not sure, or there is a plenum which will take a standalone tb
