And Venny, it wont be dull as shit if he uses 2 stage and buffs it. Hell, most cars pre mid 90s didnt even have clear, they were just 2 stage

Well yeah, It will need to be atleast mildly scuffed and wet sanded for any chance of paint actually sticking also. Ive never really heard anyone ever say black is easy to match before. Me and my body guy whos been doing it for 20 plus years were just talking about the hardest colors to match and black was one of those. The hardest one that he acutally comes across is the goldish dodge ram color.

Nah, black isnt hard to match. Theres a reason why we made our 70ft race rig is black

Usually cause black fades, i'm guessing..

Black would look sexy on there. The only problem with black is, its hard to keep clean. My 86 F150 I painted black with 5 coats of clear and wet sanded so smooth that even a bottle of wax would slide off the flat hood
