SLP Linelock Install

If anyone has installed a linelock on their Mustang with the engine in place, how long did it take and do you have any suggestions.

The directions say to cut a few wrenches off to 3.5 inches long which I plan on doing, but other than that any suggestions that might speed the process up or make it easier to install.

I just put the SLP on my car a few weeks ago and man it works great! Your gonna need the line wrenches and the shortened wrenches it calls for, other than that its simple. It took me about 2hrs

Line wrenches will make it faster as well as shortened wrenches. Might want to go to your local parts store and pick up a set of cheap stubby wrenches or a cheap wrenches and cut them off. IIRC, there are only two sizes that are really needed.

Make sure to bleed the brakes afterwards.

I was planning on going to harbor frieght and buy the line wrench set and cut them to 3.5 like the directions call for.

I had used a crows foot before on my master cylinder lines when I took them loose to move the master cylinder out of the way for removing those damn BBK valve covers.

I didn't have anyone to help me with bleeding the brakes so I didn't bleed them. They were real squishy for about 5 miles then they came back to normal.

Bleeding brakes is like the only job on a car that you can literally enlist anyone with a partial brain or more to help you with. All they need to do is sit in the car and pump, pump, pump, hold, pump, pump!
