what next?

Currently have 04 Gt with CAI, 3.73 gears, Catless H Piper, Flowmaster 40's, Xcal tuner....I was wondering what would be the next mod...all recommendations are appreciated. I have a kenne bell 2.1 waiting to be installed and tuned in March by joe @ mustang magic. I was looking at getting a new clutch kit and cam across the term 10 spline and 26 spline anybody mind explaining the difference? I'm looking at getting some suspension work done along with a wideband A/F ratio gauge, oil pressure gauge, and fuel pressure gauge. Plan on just using the ride as daily driver and probably won't see much time at a track. have anywhere from $1200-$2000 to spend......

26spline is stronger. Maybe get the 26spline and a new clutch then put the rest away for a built block

Are you still running the stock clutch? If so, I wouldn't see it liking the amount of power you'll be at with a KB.

Yea running stock clutch....does the 2004 gt come with 10 spline or 26 spline? I'm looking at getting a built block around Oct while I'm away....are the most MMR 600 blocks plug n play or are modifications needed for it work?

my stock TOB went out on my mustang the first time I took it to the track with the supercharger, and that was with fairly easy launching (and 2.3 60' times). I would defiantly upgrade your clutch, and possibly a set of cams to make it so you can keep your boost #'s down a bit until you can build your motor

If you intend to run a 26 spline clutch you are going to have to tear down your transmission and change out the input shaft.

If you are gonna run the KB, you will need fuel system upgrades.
