Fuel Pump Surprise

Today we were going to install the Focus SVT pump into my tank. When we pulled the hat out surprise, surprise, it was a cobra hat with twin pumps. The previous owner of the car never mentioned replacing the stock hat.

I was installing the Focus pump for peace of mind while using nitrous. With that cobra hat I know I'll never get a lean spike now as long as I have at least half a tank of gas.

Now I'll have to make a post in the classified to sell the SVT pump.

Damn lucky you. How about you put the 255 pump in and send me your Cobra hat? Or trade me your Cobra hat for my Ford GT pump?

The guy I bought the car from never wrote down all the mods he had done to the car.

Shaun I'll sell you a SVT Focus pump for cheap LOL!

I had dropped my gas tank a little awhile back to drill holes for the battery box, I noticed then a hose coming from the filler neck was capped off. I couldn't see where it went so I just let it be.
