main thing you'll need is 31 spline axles

yeah i forgot to add, pretty sure i would need 31 spline axles but my rear end is one of the key things i wanna build so i guess i shall.

its just been a toss up about what diff to go with so im wondering, whats the key differences with the cobra diff

and ive also been toying with the idea of swapping in an IRS but not sure.... anyone wanna sway my choice with some real life info>?

the diffrence in the cobra diff is the 31 spline part we already covered, carbon fiber clutches & a bigger cross pin.

as to the IRS, unless it's mostly a road course car or you just want to impress your buddies/etc, forget about it.

theres a reason so many cobras switch to straight axles.

thanks casper, awesome info. so really the cobra diff is gonna be more for holding up to high hp? not so much a real difference in driving characteristics?

yeah it will swap over. its a pretty cheap option. you can go with the frpp diff as well but its gonna cost ya more. 31 spline axles and you'll be all set.
