Should it stay or should it go?

My D1-SC head unit cam with a 3.6 Standard pulley and they guy threw in a 2.9 Reichard Racing pulley. Both are 6 Rib pulleys.

My question is should I keep the 2.9 RR 6 rib??

I've done a bunch of searchs but really haven't found approximately what boost i'd see out of it or How badly it'll slip?

What's the Consensus?

if your motor isn't built I would't use the 2.9. The 3.6 will be ok.

Motor's an MMR900, Stage 2 heads, CMS2.5 Blower Cams, etc....

So you'd go 2.9 in this case?

I'd like Mid 500's. My real concern is belt slip w/ the 2.9 RR. Also the boost i could expect if slip isn't an issue.

I'd go 8 rib to be honest. A 3.1 may be ok too. PM BakerFX4 he will have more insight on this then I will
