2000 GT 5 speed

I have bout 30k miles on my tranny and never change the oil, so what kind of oil is everyone using in to 5 speed tranny?

pennzoil/GM syncromesh if its a 3650...you more than likely have the t5/45 and Im not real sure about those

any number on that oil or just that what it is,where do you get that?

synchromesh, any brand really. If you want it to really shift like butter add a tube of friction modifier to it.

I run the GM syncromesh, I have also ran the Royal Purple stuff

I heard great thinks about that GM staf, is that sold in any auto parts store? And how much oil the tranny holds?

Id look online man, dont think normal parts stoes carry it and its pretty spendy at the dealer

You can use ATF in the T5 even though its not an auto it is in the haynes manual-. Exactly what I put in mine.

all autoparts stores have synchromesh, either the GM or penzoil versions.
