FINALLY!!

got my grill delete and chin spoiler today, and installed them! looks awesome! i'll get pictures up tomorrow hopefully. my list of mods is growing: steeda tri-ax, eibach pro-kit, grill delete, chin spoiler, tinted windows, upgraded stereo, and painted red calipers!

next mod is definately gonna be a cat-back, then wheels and tires.

Sounds like a great start. What exhaust/wheels are you looking at?

i know i'm gonna get a lot of people telling me no on this, but a flowmaster cat-back and 18x9 Chrome Bullitts. i'm actually thinkin about 18x9 deep dish with 275's all around. what do you guys think?

for exhaust i'm keeping my stock h-pipe for now. i want a loud deep rumble. and i know flowmasters give you that. my dads corvette has borla exhaust and its really raspy and high pitched. it sounds good but i like the powerful rumble of flowmasters.

You won't catch any shit from me on that combo, I've got the Flowmaster cat-back and almost bought the polished DD bullits. I think you'll like it.

I know the exhaust opinions are plentiful here, and most are tired of hearing flows, but the prochamber/flowmaster combo is the best I've heard.

Flows FTW...

275's might be alittle small on the DD rims...Go with at least some 285's...

Nice round of mods...

Go with the prochamber...

A prochamber and flowmaster catback would be a great combo.. I was also thinking about those rims myself but to many people have them in nor cal so it kinda turned me off them.

BTW- DOC i want to hear that thing!!!

My only complaint with Flows isn't that they sound bad, because they don't. It's that everybody and thier mother has them. Out of all the guy I know that have Mustangs in my area 3/4 of them have Flows, me and my friend Mark have the packs and there were some other guys with other set ups that I don'y know what they have. I just wantd mine to sound different than the masses. Some people like my exhaust and some don't, but with my Bassani X and Packs I have yet to hear another car sound quite like mine. Just go with the sound you like.

i've seen a total of 2 99-04 GT's in my area that had aftermaket exhaust. one of them is a kid that goes to my college, he has magnaflows. the other one was in the safeway parking lot he had SLP loudmouth. theres not that many modded mustangs around here.. so i dont think running into cars with the same exhaust will be too big of a deal. man there are TONS of pickups here with flowmasters though.

The non-catted H-pipes sound great with flows - but it's loud. Really loud. If that's what you like it'll be great. The prochamber isn't quite as loud but has a more distinct sound at higher revs, it's really FN sweet...

Honestly, I would've already put a prochamber on my car but it's not fast enough yet. Like a guy emailed me once, it's advertising more than it can deliver. I got that from a guy near my age and I agree 100%. So I'm saving the prochamber for my last mod with a dynotune on cams.
