Noise removal

How should I go about quieting down the road noise/exhaust noise of my 03 GT?
Without adding too much weight, its not a track car, but I do not want to add a lot of weight.
If you want to know how loud it is, SLP LM1's, cat-less X, dumped right after going over the axle. I really like the sound but in the car it gets to be a little much. I want to be able to have a conversation with a certain someone every now and then.

get rid of the resonators/lm1 and put a muffler on it to get a more clean tuned sound.

im wondering the same thing, because i have a vert, and it just gets to noisy when im not in the mood for a loud car like at night lol....
but i think dynomatting the floors and trunk could help a lot.

put some mufflers on it and add electric cut outs for when you want to be loud.
