Got my new shifter installed!!!!

Well I went w/ the Triax from Steeda and am loving it. Set the handle to the lowest position for the shortest throws. Its night and day differnent from the stock unit. Nice and tight w/o an play. Only question I have is that the 2 bolts that thread into the handle did not come w/ locking nuts. I secured them tight and don't think they would back out. The stock handle did not even have any locking nuts. Should I be worried?

No i havent ever seen any locking nuts on the handle. Thats why the shifter is threaded, to accept bolts.

Thats the way I was thinking and thought it was overkill but the instructions stated to install them, yet they were not in my packaging. Ok, thanks, I'm not even gonna worry about it. I'm just gonna be snatching brodies dudes!!!!
At least til the fun wears off...

Right now i've got the tri ax on mine, and i've used the pro 5.0 before. to be honest i think the tri ax kicks the 5.0s ass lol. i know that mgw are quality shifters, but i've never used them and i have absolutely 0 complaints about my steeda.

I read the reviews and they all seemed good. I looked at a few others but like the way the Steeda appeared and the handle looked better than the others i saw. Then I found a deal on the internet for it for only $169 including a billet style shift knob which I'm just gonna ebay for some extra cash as I don't need it.
