Long Tube Headers

96-04 FORD MUSTANG GT MODULAR 4.6L V8 LONG TUBE HEADER - eBay (item 150557670314 end time Feb-09-11 11:02:40 PST)Has anybody ever heard of or used "dpt motorsports"? They have a long tube header on eBay:

$235 -- I'm guessing cheap Chinese knock-offs but what the heck. Thought I'd ask.

2000 GT Auto - SOLD!

Pacesetter has always been cheap too, I have wondered if they were any good either, heard anything about those?

One guy I've talked to, runs a dyno and perf. shop in the Mpls metro area didn't have anything good to say about Pacesetter. Said they never fit very well. But then when I asked him what he preferred, he said Kook, American Racing (both over $1,000). So you have to wonder about his objectivity.

MACS are the best bang for the buck IMHO...the only reason I have BBK's is beacase I got em new for dirt cheap lol Kooks and american racing are top notch pieces though without a doubt.

Be careful of some of the stuff sold on Ebay, like others have said, you get what you pay for.

Buy a new set of MAC headers.

As far as headers go, I would buy MAC, BBK, or flowtech. They are good quality for the price. I personally have MAC and they are good quality and they fit well.

Does anyone have personal experiance with these headers? Photos of the poor fit?
thanks.

btw, if I was the dyno guy I would badmouth then cheapies too. No money in it for him, now the $1k headers, he makes a pretty penny selling them to you.
