what type of brake pads??
Hey everyone,
I bought a set of slotted/cross drilled rotors for my stang but i don't know the proper type of brake pads to go with them? I tried the ceramic ones but the grip is not what i expected. from what i heard, certain types of brake pads are proper for slotted/cross drilled rotors, but others are not and could cause some serious damage to the rotors. Any recommendations? Thx!! |

Go with a set of semi-metallics.. I would recommend getting some "Green Stuff" pads I have seen allot of good results with these. Good Luck

The Green Stuff have had a pretty good track record, or go with a Ford Racing Product. BUT DON"T buy pads from Auto Zone, they are crap!

I'm partial to HAWK Performance Pads.
I have them on my truck and car. Work well.

I think it depends on the model. The Ceramic are supposed to be ultra-low dust. I use the HPS (High Performance Street) and I haven't found the dust to be a problem. (But I'm only comparing to stock)
