Will a 2002 Gt Engine Directly Replace a 2000GT engine?


Looking at this engine was about to bid on it just wanted to see what if any alterations must be made to make this work on my car?

the only differences should be if it was a romeo or windsor (wont matter since you will be replacing everything), and water pump set up.

I believe that the 99-01s were windsor and the 02-04 are Romeo so that would be the only difference!

Easy Swap...

You wil have to run your MAF thouse because the 02+ have the IAT intergrated into the MAF...

other then that it is a direct swap...

Just a quick note on that, later model 01's also have the Romeo block. Romeo 11 bolts on valve cover, Windsor 13. Just in case anyone needed the info.
