hell jus fabricate a pipe coming from each cylinder to right behind the front wheels, 4 on each side. seriously though, its not going to sound good if you make it as loud as possible (i dont like the sound of straight pipes) ....you can make it plenty loud and still sound good.... like a mustang should....

I know you said that your not getting cams. But I would seriously look into them. It would make your (loud as hell) exhuast sound so much better. Just my .02

SLP LM 1 are the loudest exhaust I can think of. They sound great at idle, but crappy at higher RPMs. I'm partial to the the magnapacks. (Click my sig) The Borla Stingers are also pretty loud with great sound quality. You may also consider SLP LM 2 exhaust. They are loud with a similar, yet different sound than the Magnapacks.

i have SLP LM's and they are loud as hell, but i dont like the sound as much anymore. i'm actually going to change mine, i have magnaflow x-pipe and magnapacks coming. i think (hope) that will sound much better with my shortys.

Should deff sound more smooth... If your looking into glasspacks just get a set of magnapacks.. its the same concept but they give a much better sound.

Try the old school Thrush mufflers my dad had on his Road Runner. I'm pretty sure they still make them. I loved that car!
