Griggs Racing Torque Arm

I have been looking into the Sever Duty Torque Arm for my car mainly to help stopping distances and to help make the car handle better but I was wondering if the torque arm helps the car hook better at all? Is there any advantage to the TA in drag racing at all since I plan to take the mustang out to the drag strip for the first time this year.

thers no advantage to a torque arm in a drag racing situation.

depending on the design, it could actually hurt you.

TAs are for cornering grip more than anything else.

+1 there are guys with Fbodys that swap out their factory TA setups to run ford 8.8s and triangulated 4 link so they can hook better at the strip

TQ arms are the best comprimise for all types of driving. there is plenty of adjustablilty for whatever type of racing you do, even drag. the added weight, is biggest downfall for drag racing purposes. unless you are pumping out some massive tq, no need for the sever duty from griggs. i am hoping to go to the sever duty in my car with the next build if i have the car that long.
