Dyno numbers

so at my school we have a dyno. today i threw my car up there. only mods i have are a short ram intake, MAC longtubes O/R Xpipe and slp cat back and a 93 octance race tune. however the "tune" feels like it did NOTHING at all. my car was exactly the same before and after. so anyway i thre the car on the dyno and made 250hp and 281 torque. these good number or what? seems a little low to me. my car has exactly 130,058 miles one it

i agree they look good to me. average i've seen for full bolt on cars is around 260-265. since you dont have full bolt ons yet i'd say you're on par for that.

On my last gt with 100k miles, stock manifolds, bassani off road x, weld in flowmasters, and a cheap ebay cai I put down 255whp, and 294wtq. Stock Tune. But your numbers do sound about right.

Is your car an auto or 5 speed? And because it didnt get a "dyno" tune your still leaving some power on the table.

It also depends on the brand/style of dyno

shaun... i dont think a dyno tune is going to do much for him. lol... would be a waste of money for the 3rwhp he would prolly gain. Guy doesnt have many mods.

its a dyno tech dyno we got here, and its a 5speed. but is it weird that i dont feel ANY differnece from the tune/ i took it off and put it back on twice and it seemed like it pulled EXACTLY the same, maybe i just cant feel it, i didnt have enough time in class on the dyno to do it with tune and without to see if there was any hp differnece

Eh not really. When I was NA I dynod at 250rwhp, after 261rwhp. And a buddy of mine picked like 8rwhp. And the OP has longtubes. So I think with a custom dyno tune hell see some more power.

Dont forget man, 10rwhp when your NA means a lot. Its not like being boosted where its whatever.
