Window tint

Whats the best way to remove tint. Im getting my windows redone and they told me to remove the tint myself unless I wanted to pay them to do it.

Put the white stuff in your nose, then use the razor to remove tint.
That way you'll get it done real fast and you'll be smiling the whole time!

Thats BS that they are going to charge you to remove the old tint!! If they are re-doing the tint they should take the old sh* off at no cost. I konw a bussiness needs to make a profit, but you have to take care of your customers too.
If they really wont remove it for you. call them back up and ask them the best way to remove it. Ive never had to take it off cause on all my cars they just did it for me.. Good Luck.

use a sharp razor and windex.

be careful when doing the back window as you probably don't want to cut your defroster lines.

The place that is retinting the windows isnt the business the original tint on. It looks like the previous owner did the tint himself, it has a purpleish color to it, chiped and scratched, doesnt look good. Last night I used the razor blade and windex and the tint came off in one pull but the sticky stuff is not easy to get off. I have a bunch of scrapped lines of glue on my window. I think Ill just let them deal with it when they retint.
