I know a single 88mm turbo Cobra that runs low 8's maybe high 7's this year with 1300rwhp NHRA with a Teksid block.

thats sweet for a stock factory block!

Also consider that Ford was not comfortable building the 390fwHP (flywheel) Cobras on the GT rotating assembly, they likely had a pretty good grip on what it could handle and meet their design life criteria.
I heard from my friend that his friend was talking to a shop in Ohio that is big into 4.6's and they said that the timing is afghani what causes them to go. Something about them jumping time if the chain, and tensioner aren't good that is what actually makes the rods go. Is it true idk just what I heard. Thought I'd post it and see what you all think.

^ it wont last forever. Maybe 1000 more miles or 20,000 but im 90% sure it wont last past 100,000 miles. I would have the cash in the bank for a rebuild ready at all times. Another member jayC has been doing it for 6 years with 500rwhp on his 2v but its hit or miss i guess.

yeah i am sure blown...torque is lower then HP. Saw he has a D1sc. The supporting mods help too. Heads, cams, ect.

A turbo car can run a little more power since it's a little easier on the motor.
