Stroke...huh?
ok i keep seeing this word being thrown around a lot. "hey im gonna stroke my engine." whats it mean?

It changes the crack on your car, as well as the wrist pin placement in the pistons and a shorter piston skirt ( maybe more maybe less ) but it gives your pistons a longer stroke. Like stoke the engine might move up and down 3 inches, but stroked they squeeze it to 4 inches.

stroke is the vertical movement of the piston and rod. done with a crank with a longer throw. what this does in increase engine displacment and makes more powa!!!
