Lucas Injector Cleaner

I have a procharger on my car running 10psi.

Any of you guys recommend running the lucas injector cleaner through the car?

While I can't speak for a boosted application, I can say that running 2 bottles through a car took the injectors from almost fully clogged to a nice clean spray on a 3800 v6. It does the job as far as cleaning.

Good question I was wondering the same awhile back. I suggest put it in while you have half a tank and just take it easy on the gas until you run it close to E and still take it easy for a bit on the next fill up. Just try to stay out of boost if you dump it in. I have a centri and its easy for me to drive it daily and stay out of boost so that being said I guess it depends on the type of blower you have.

What brand did you run and how do you know it cleaned them out?

Lucas of course, and it was on my mothers old car (since totalled by a big caddy) so I was able to pull em and turn it over to see the spray.

I run 3M fuel system cleaner once or twice a year. Usually after winter. Havent used any with the supercharger yet but doubt it will hurt anything.

Just leave it alone. All 9 cars ive owned have done fine without pouring a shit ton of additives like fuel injector cleaner or seafoam every year.

Yes will pick some up tomorrow. Just filled up with a full tank today. I always like to run a bottle through after that nasty winter gas.

and to be clear spending the money doesnt bother me so if it has no effect i wont be pissed off.

Only be pissed if it has a negative effect which im unsure if its risky or not.

Leave it alone. Those should only be used for desperate measures. If runs good then leave it alone!

Again if your not sure it will mess something up and you dont care if it does nothing then why do it?
