Need a transmission plz help.
I tore the t3650 out of my 01 procharged bullitt. Thought bout getting a t45. Think people have talked me into switching it over to a t56 tranny. I know I have to have different clutch, crossmember, and driveshaft. Does anyone know where I can find one at. Looking for a used one don't have money put in a brand new one. The car is my daily and has been down for about a week and I need back up and going. Please help been looking for them for hours..

Just get another Tr3650, if you can get a 04 model as they are the best of the Tr3650's

I would not really recommend getting used T45 or T56 parts in any type of hurry. They are not necessarily hard to find but 75% of people even some body shops will lie about the condition.

I have had both a fox body 5.0 and my car now, both which i torture and powershift like a mad man and have never tore up a trans, my buddie who drives just like i do has ripped out every trans in every mustang he has every had which is 4+ transmissions. I think its how you drive it.

What do you have 375+ WHP and a stage 3+ clutch?

The input shaft I can understand since its the weak spot. Upgrade the shaft and call it a day.

Good luck on finding a used T56. Good ones are few and far between.
As for instructions search for Jazzer's thread, it covers everything. Shame you can't use the Chevy T56's, they're all over the place and cheap.

Your transmission just got confused is all so it cracked. Definitely fix the input shaft but the T45 maybe more versatile but it will see the same problems as your current tranny I guarantee it.

Yeah I would just swap to a 26 spline input shaft with a new clutch disc.

Idk what "tore the trans out" means, but if its just the input shaft upgrade to a 26 spline and your good. Promotion and libertys gears makes them for the 3650. While the trans is out rebuild it. DD performance has a good rebuild kit.
If you ruined the synchros as well, swapping to a t-45 would only mean you will be pulling it out in a couple months from broke shift forks.
