Hey guys my friends car is throwin the code P1151 which is a lack of O2 switch, bank 2 sensor 1 which to my knowledge is running lean. What do you guys think we need to do to fix this? Thanks

If its not switching, the cars either lean, rich or the sensor is slow/old.

How many miles are on the car, any mods to the car, original o2 sensor or a replacement

150,xxx miles are on the car and nope no mods. Bought the car used so he isnt sure if its the original O2 sensor or not.

I had this code after much time spent replacing/cleaning old parts I discovered it was a vacuum leak leading to a false reading. Replaced the worn hose and all was well. At 150K I would imagine one of your hoses is about to bite the dust. I recommend hand inspection of the lines as well, that’s how I found my leak. Disassembled and put her back together.
