Someone please take a picture for me! Plz Help!


I am trying to find a power steering pressure switch on my 4.6L Mustang GT... My brother and I just spent the last hour and a half looking for it with no success! Please post a picture of yours if you can!

People don't cut these out of there cars for performance gains do they???

I never heard of a power steering pressure switch, I guess if you take off the power steering filling cup cap you are going to relieve the pressure, but I dont see how that will affect your performance at all? lol

I dont think the power steering reservoir ever pressurised.... what exactly are you trying to fix?

I've had my power steering pump off, brake boost off, and all the lines off. I don't recall ever seeing any type of external pressure switch.

There could be some kind of internal pressure switch inside the brake booster.

It's on the rack right where the power steering line attaches you will know it when you see the plug going to it
