Manual Trans Experts - squealing/metalic noises
A little background, I am running a t-56 mag with a Zoom kevlar stage 3 clutch, Ford OEM TOB, Steeda Quad and adjuster. I have almost 2K miles on this setup and 1500 of the miles are hard miles (15-19# boost).
For the last 500 miles there has been an intermittent noise that I believed to be the TOB. I have adjusted the firewall adjuster several times to keep the clutch properly adjusted. Today a much worse squealing noise started, sounded like metal rubbing on metal. I lasted several minutes and did not vary with clutch pedal position. Then mysteriously it went away. Any ideas as to what is going on?

I have put 50 more miles on the car since the mysterious metallic rubbing sound this morning. No more metallic sounds, just a little TOB chirping. Is it possible to get a small rock stuck in the clutch assembly and make a metallic rubbing sound?
