Well if you find killer deals like I did jazz, can't pass that up. And these tires I got fit like 315's honestly. If try had rim guard, they would be even better fit.

and the stubbornness of the old folk
Really, it's going to be an endless debate as always. It's just like anything else someone wants to do, you can tell them your opinion and recommendations but in the end it's their choice. As I had said, yes it is not recommended but it's do able, and being done with people who drive the snot out of their cars far more than I do and they have no issues. I (and i'm sure everyone else here) can appreciate your knowledge and input none the less.

you can squeeze a 275 on an 8" rim but just bc you Can doesnt mean that its safe and will ride like a 245 0r 255 on that same 8" rim. So you Can run a 335 on a 10.5" rim but....

This has been covered countless times and no matter how many ppl do it and have "no problem" with it the fact still stands that 335 are recommended for a 11"++ rim 315s for a 10.5" rim. so it is and will be an endless debabte but the facts are still the facts even if ppl choose to push the envelope.

so since 335's are too big and not really that safe and 315's are insanely effing expensive i guess im dubbed down to a 305 - 35 - 18?
what about bfg kdw 295-35-18's any good?
