MAC catback

Ok guys i was just about to order my mac catback system off americanmuscle.com for 329.00, but i thought i would ask my brothers from MM a couple qs first.. It is the 2 1/2" system w/ 3" tips..part # TK9624... First i was wondering if anyone knew of a place to get a better price? Second, what type of muffler mac is? straight through like magnaflow or chambered like flowmaster..

BTW- the wife finally gave in a bit so i am also getting some new headlights (messed up in accident), steeda tri-ax, and a diablo tuner.. maybe some gears if she really loves me . Thanks ahead guys.

I would go with the SCT Tuner, unless your local tuner is only a Diablo dealer.

The MAC sounds nice, I have that exact exhaust you ordered. Definetly sounds deep.

i don't know exactly, but I think the MAC cat-back are chambered like the flowmasters, except they are a little deeper and a little quieter than the flows (and sound A LOT better).

PM crazylegs on this site, and check his price for the mac stuff. tell him Will sent you.

to hear how this set up sounds, clicky here:

Im in the market for a good cat-back system as well but for a reasonal price.I think it basically comes down to sound preference, being that all cat-backs make about the same power 5-10 hp.I think dishing out 500-700 dollars on a cat-back is a bit to much.I had a mac cat-back system on a '95 cobra I used to own, it sounded awesome, gave a couple extra hp's and installation was a breeze.www.performancecenter.com has a 2 1/2 system for 317 S/H included.
