NHRA Roll Bars

Hey, I've been looking for a NHRA approved roll bar preferably one that keeps the rear seat usable, but all I seem to find are ones that aren't NHRA approved... if anybody knows of any such roll bar could you please guide me in the right path, thanks.

Also any first time track going information would be great, I'm going for my first time ever this Friday. Hopefully I'll get to make a few runs before they realize my convertible that I know will run way faster than 13.49 in the quarter doesn't have a roll bar, lol...

to be NHRA approved it MUST have a welded in harness bar (ie. the bar that runs behind the seat to attach the shoulder straps from your harness to) among other things. so basically your screwed for a backseat with a legal cage. sorry.

also if your track is like most of the ones up here, to tech guy will catch the 'vert/vortec/no cage thing & may send you home in the tech lanes before you even run. you shouldn't be skimping on saftey anyway.

unless the track is busy with a lot of racers.. around here if the track is really busy the tech guy just makes you open the hood and signs your sheet..
