Question

newb nitrous question

ive looked through a few of the threads and have yet to find my answer. ive got an 02 gt with various bolt ons. one thing i dont have is an aftermarket intake manifold. i plan on running the nx plate setup with a 100shot. maybe even a 75 to be safe. will the stock plastic intake manifold be safe to use with this kit? ive got an experienced n2o user helping on the install but would like to get some more opinons. thank you

Yes, the stock intake can handle it fine. I run a 125 dry shot on my 98, no problems at all.. Just get your car tuned for the spray.. Is your system wet or dry?

window switch, bottle heater and nitrous pressure gauge will be enough to get you by. your intake manifold will be fine as previously mentioned.

have fun with the spray!! its addicting, you will be filling bottles once a week

The plastic manifold is fine unless you get a nitrous backfire, then it blows holes in it.
As long as you are using some kind of window switch you shouldn't have problems with a nitrous backfire.

Get a fuel pressure safety switch for insurance, that way if your fuel pressure drops below the preset it will shut off the nitrous solenoid.

A bottle opener is nice to have if you have your bottle mounted in the trunk.
