Still dropping

Forget to post this earlier. I did an oil change, and cleaned my Throttle Body and now my car doesn't quickly drop and rise (RPM Wise) at start like it use to.

But now, sometimes when I am at a light and come to a stop it'll drop a tiny bit, sometimes a little more. Also, sometimes when I put it back in gear it'll nearly stall.

Any ideas?

Did you get any cleaner on your MAS? cause if you did you need to wait tell it air drys... it can mess with allot of stuff. If that is dry then like Chris said there is a post about a little gasket that can cause this. Good Luck.

Yeah, there's only one kind of cleaner that's safe for those sensors. I think it's called electrical contact cleaner...

not sure exactly what you mean.... but in my car, when I get to a stop light, I'm usually about 950 rpms, and then after I stop and after a second or two, it drops to about 700-750.

Is this what yours is doing?? I just figured it was normal and not too serious.

yeah, mine does that, and it also seems like its going to stall sometimes, it'll go down to about 500 or less, it does it when im idleing anywhere and ill be cruising along and put it in neutral and the rpms will stay up there for quite a while, i figured they should go right down., but what do i know

Yeah like mentioned above, I get the drop to around 750 and it sounds like she is gonna stall, then she'll jump back to 950-1k and stay and be fine.

No idea ?! My IAC was cleaned with the proper cleaner and it is way dry... it's spotless....

Is this happening on a auto or stick? I also found the post that ChrisJ was talking about above.. It deff. could be the problem that you are having. and idk were you are finding the IAC for $40, Cuase thats pretty low.. Oh yea and the post about your IAC is on the main page for the "how-to" section.
