So I bought a 3 piece grille and we got the middle and lower one in but how does the hood grill go in? The the stock grille in the hood has a backing to it so Im not able to stick anything through it, it came with zip ties.

When i got that kit i had to mock up a custom bracket to hold it..
The kit wants you to drill holes in the existing stock grill and zip tie it to that.. kinda crappy..
If i was you i would mock up one myself. Wish i could help you with more.

yeah thats what I was thinking. What did you do to make your own braket?

This is one I made for my GT from a V6 grille insert. I know you can't see it but I I drilled two holes in my hood, equal distance from the sides of the scoop (near the middle) where they wouldn't be seen, and behind the front of the grille insert, Then I used small "L" brackets (two) like you would use for a shelf and drilled two holes in each. One hole that would be used to hold the grille and one hole to hold the grille to the hood. Then I took (six) black hex key bolts 1/4" by 3/4" long and used them to attach the brackets to hood, brackets to grille insert and there should be (two) holes in the middle of your scoop up front that you can attach the grille insert to scoop instead of using the zip ties. You will also have to drill holes in your grille insert to accept the hex key bolts, TAKE MEASUREMENTS! use washers and nuts to attach all bolts. If this sounds confusing let me know I will try to make it sound simpler.
