K@n air filter

i went and bought a k&n airfilter for my 02 mustang gt and i put it in it kept on shutting off my car while i was driving any help i do have a functional shaker hood tho

and i took it off but since then like once every 2 month my car just shuts off when im driving then i have to turn it back on and it starts right up any advice?

I think most mustangs shut off when you push the clutch in every now and then, as long as it dosnt happen too often your ok... as for the filter shutting your car off, maybe it wasnt put in right? just a guess

i heard u have to unplug some air flow or disconnect the batter someone please help

is the check engine light on? if it is unhook the battery for 5 minutes and then hook it back up and see if it turns off. if you started it with one of the sesors unplugged it could trip the engine light. and also your IAC (idle air control) could be all gummed up with the k&n air filter oil. try cleaning that out with throttle body cleaner.

Try disconnecting the battery first.
