What does anyone think about the Diablo Sport Tuner, I was looking at it because RPM Outlet has a good deal on them right now.

The predator tuner is a good chip but it isn't the best IMO. Many others apparently as well.....

But anyway they are coming out with a new chip pretty soon but I hear they will only be making them for 98+ mustangs........

I have the diablo tuner, it isnt a chip though, But what it does do is reflash your stock computer. No need to add any hardware. I am happy with it.

I am running the Diablo handheld tuner right now. It is okay. You can adjust for gears, tire sizes, turn off 02 sensors, adjust timing and fuel to a small degree. I will be going with SCT soon though as the tuner I am going to use only tunes with them.

Well I just purchased the SCT tuner off of MustangTuning.com! Hopefully it will come in soon, I am very anxious to install it. They are supposed to make a custom tune already on the tuner for me, how exactly do I transfer it into my vehicle?

Just plug it into the OBD2 port under the dash on the drivers side and follow the instructions.

The first thing you will do is download your stock computer info to the Xcal2. That will lock the Xcal2 to your car. After that you can download a custom tune which reflashes your computer.

I thought Diablo, and Sniper were pretty good tuners until i started tunning with sct. I currently am a dealer for SNIPER Tuning But by the end of the MONTH i will be an SCT DEALER. I have found that SCT has more experience in Tuning than all the rest. There for better tuning.

you know the sct tuner is good and so is the predator. it all depends on the tune that the guy who rights the tune puts into the car! if he outs a crappy tune though a predator its not the predators fault its the tuner and the same can go for the sct. its all about who write the tune, as the tuner(handheld) is just the way to get it into the computer!

If you want to do it right, call Bob Kurgan at http://www.kurganmotorsports.com/

He is one of the best if not the best out there. He will burn you an SCT chip for $300.
