best alternator upgrade

So I am in the market for an upgraded alternator (need 100 idle/200 max) for my 2000 GT. I have a decentlly powerful system but my lights still dim when I turn it up. This is despite an Optima Yellow Top AND a 1 farad capacitor. I can see my RPMs jump when i'm idleing and the bass is loud. I actually got into a small fender bender because of the RPM jumping from my system (long story, even though no one ever believes it!!!)

So...what do you fellow stang owners recommend for aftermarket alternators? PA performance, Bosch, Orange county, ebay generic? Any advice (I will definitely upgrade my wires!). Any feedback on personal choices/problems. Thanks! Any I don't know what the rules are about prices here, but I've seen some alternators range between $300 and $500 (chrome finish I guess). What do you guys think about a decent price for a new alternator?

I beleive ford racing offers a good upgrade, or autopartswarehouse.com
