Re: clutch install?
This ob took me 6 hours. I re-used the bolts and nothing happened. The hard part will be getting at the bolts on the bell housing. To get at the top bolts you will need to use a wacky combnation of extensions and U-joint adapters. They are a complete bitch to get to. There are 7 bolts from the tranny to the block i beileve. In the front part of the tranny, way up top, there is a wiring harness on an adapter mount that rides under the top bolts on the tranny make sure this gets disconnected from the tranny before you attempt to drop it or you will be swearing up a storm trying to figure out why it wont budge. Take the hole shifter assembly off completely it will ease removal and re-installation. Be careful when putting it back in as to not fuck up the pressure plate. I did this with a buddy, in a garage on jack stands with 2 floor jacks. I STRONGLY recommend the use of a transmission jack, at a couple points i had to bench press the tranny...wasnt fun. One last thing, to avoid a huge mess create some sort of bag with duct tape invention over the output end of tranny. Fluid will go everywhere. Get a vampire pump or one of those tubes that screws onto the threads on common 1 quart bottles (ie. oil n tranny fluid qts.) i found one at autozone. Then you can add tranny fluid into the fill hole of the tranny. Oh and one more last thing you need a grease gun, or slide hammer to remove the carrier bearing from the rear of the crank, if your kit came with one. Easy to do just pack grease behind the bearing it pops right out, they are pressed in from the factory. Good luck try not to strip bolts or your screwed.

Yeah what tranny are you on? 6! And make sure you use brake clean on your flywheel and a lint free rag! If not you will have hotspots in you flywheel!
