nitrous express

hey everyone i just got the Nitrous Express Ford EFI Plate System (96-04 2V GT)

off american muscle site I also got a perdge kit and remote opener. Anyone have this kit? I know it comes with upto a 150 shot jet. Could you run this shot on your car without having to change internals. I have a full exhaust and knn intake for now. Also how noticeable would this be hopefully it will put me back in my seat like a turbo kicking in. Iv been in a corvette with a 75 shot zex dry however and it was not that noticeable.
I will be in the west coast of Canada and its a very mild climate, is a bottle heater esensial as they are quite pricey and will be left quite poor after getting this installed etc
Cheers everyone WRITE BACK SOON!

the bottle heater is needed becasue if the pressure in the bottle is not right, it wont make the right power. 100 shot is as far as you need to go on your stick shortblock. and also you must get a tune for it.

bottle heater a big plus, needs to keep pressure around 950psi. i was running a 100 shot on mine and i am moving up to a 125, all on stock internals. i have on nos system with a n/x plate, digital window switch, purge, pressure controled heater, and 2stg colder champion plugs. off a 100 shot i dropped a second off my 1/4 with a little traction issue.

by a tune do you mean just a service? Ie oil change checking compression that kind of thing? Also why do i need to change my spark plugs if they work well? ps what should i change to?

thanks steve

No a tune means get it on a dyno and sombody will tweak your computer to safely spray! Also you will need to run colder plugs so that you dont get detationation! And I have no clue on what plugs to run because I have no expirence with nitrous!

ngk tr6 gapped at .035 will work fine for what your wanting to do. and youll have to keep good plugs in it because nitrous is hard on them. as for tuning, you need to take it to a tuner and they will tune for the nitrous. usually they will pull about 2-3 degrees of timing all the way across the board to make a 100 shot safe

there are a few people safely running the 125-150 shots on the stock bottom ends... but with you just starting out i would run a 100 shot.....
