Are the mach 1's 4v engines? I guess i never knew that....I know the gt is just a 2v, and the cobra is a 4v forged, so I'm assuming the mach is inbetween, being a 4v but not forged, yes?

The mach 1 is a 4v if you get one with a 5 spd it has a forged crank. The autos don't. And the new body style GT's have 3v, just thought I'd throw that out there.

I knew about the 05 mustangs havin a 3v, but i never knew that about a mach......soooo theoretcially, a mach could be modified just like a cobra? I mean you could get even stronger internals than that of the cobra, and slap on a twin turbo or supercharger and kick wing, and since its 4v, make equal or more hp right?

Yup, you could make just as much power if you did all the same things to it as you would a cobra.

well the cobra comes with forged internals, so really youd have to spend more on the mach to get it where the cobra is at

Sheesh.....something totally new....

So How much more expensive is a mach compared to a gt? Don't they make around the same hp? Atleast thats what I thought....but you know.....so far things have been a surprise lol. ?

well the gt was rated at around 260 and the mach is rated at 302, but in the long run, im thinking a mach can get more hp than a 2v with the same amount of money

Oh....man, I never knew this! I mean for sure I knew the gt was at 260, but this whole mach situation is blowing my mind lol.... Cosmetically wise, I thought the machs only came in the blue and orange colors?

I'm pretty sure they came in alot more colors, but i dont know they, red, white all that. i was gunna buy a new mach crate motor but at 7 large, i really dont think it'd be worth it

I've seen some actual 03-04 cobra engines for sale, with everything, for about 8k i think. Idk, I really dont like the azure blue on the machs. I think its ugly compared to the metallic blue other mustangs have...imo

i just picked up an 04 cobra motor with 4k miles with full bolt ons for 6600 lol
