clutch question

this is a pretty noob question but meh
typically if you get a higher rated clutch, does the pedal get harder or softer to push or does that matter on something else?

Depends! But you might feel only a little difference! The centerforce dual disk is easier than stock! But a spec might be a hair harder!

My spec stage II does not fell any different than my stock clutch. But when you are in a parking lot or any where you are trying to drive slow it is very hard to just slip the clutch. It is ether 100% grab or nothing, a lot like a on off switch.

Yeah my King Cobra clutch is like an on off switch too! It is a lot harder to make smooth if you are going really slow!

I had the King Cobra in my last Fox, and it was not as bad as this spec is. But I will always give up some slow speed comfort for the relief of knowing the clutch will not slip.

i had a king cobra that was a pos, i went to a spec stage 3 and love it. it is a firmer clutch, but is a lot stronger than what i need.

Yeah Stage II on the newer stang feels 99.9% like stock, but if I am starting out real slow from a stop light, or at a drive through...

It's kinda rough, I'm either in gear, or I'm not, there is no slow bite.
