New 2003 cobra.....couple of questions

I just recently bought a 2003 mustang cobra and had a couple of questions. The previous owner i bought it from didnt know very much of the modifications it had on it but i did notice it had bilstein struts and shocks, those dont come factory do they?

I was also looking at some aftermarket wheels and tires. Does anyone know the exact bolt pattern? I was looking at some 19x10s for the rear but was wondering the biggest tires i could run without having to worry about clearance or any rubbing problems with little to no modifications.

I would really appreciate any help at all

welcome to mm

yea the bilstein comes from the factory

the bolt pattern is 5 X 4.5

you can run up to a 315 on a 10.5 inch rim

if the car is stock ride height you are going to have problems with a 315. if you lower the car 1.5 in you will clear no problem. the bils came stock on that car. back on the tire width if you get the right backspacing and use the right tire you can fit a 335 but that is on a 10.5 to 11 in wide rim.

git rid of the IRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why would you tell him to get rid of the irs? unless its a all out track car that would be dumb. beef it up and it will be fine.

The Corvettes IRS also is a lot better built than the Cobras.
