Donot remove the sway bars if you want better handleing. But changing the springs will lower the center of gravity and there for give you better handleing!

Upgrading your rear axle, & full suspension is your best bet if you want great handling, but springs will work for now, until you add more power.

OK if you want better handling your going to want to put a set of springs on first ( i would also add some caster/camber plates at this time).. this will lower your center of gravity and improve cornering. New struts and shocks, should be added at some point. Next some upgraded sway bars.. front and rear will improve body roll. And a front and rear strut tower braces will also stiffen it up.. Another option is to put a set of full length subframe connectors on the stang.. You might also want to put on some upper and lower control arms in the rear. And of course some wider rims and better tires will give you improved handling.
If your getting into more serious road racing your going to want to go with a coilover setup, instead of springs (this will allow adjustable ride height..) A aftermarket K member and panhand bar. Along with the other stuff mentioned above..And last you are going to want to add a bump steer kit so you dont have trouble controling the car under hard cornering. Brothersperformance is a great place for stang handling.

Add 04 Cobra front lower arms, there like 128.00 a pair gives the car that agressive Cobra stance. //wayne baker and Bleakly Ford will help you out
Both opf these companys are good to work with wbaker@johnbleakleyford.com And: Bullitt Mustang Suspension Kit - 94-04 Mustangs View On Line Price $509.95 Josh @ http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...namicIndex.asp

check out some steeda parts if you're looking for great handling. www.steeda.com
you can have a VERY solid suspension set up for about $2000 or less.
