What should I be looking to pay for labor?
I've been thinking that my next few mods (in order) for my car are going to be:
4.10 gears 3500rpm torque converter and possible a limited slip differential Can anyone give me a ballpark figure as to what I should be looking to pay for labor for these individually? I'd do it myself if I could, but I really don't have enough faith in my mechanic skills to attempt it.

It's usually $200-$400 for the gears to be installed. As far as the others i'm not sure, so i'd say close to $1,000. as an estimate. When I get the work done on my car I guess i'll have it made, because labor sucks, and I won't have to pay it, because luckily I got a few friends who are Engine Tech's & Mechanics, so my crappy skills won't be needed (thank god for that), and neither will my money.

Well, I got a quote of 250 for the converter and 250 for the gears (labor only, of course). The guy said he wouldn't mess with the differential, didn't say why. I'm starting to wonder if the differential would even be worth it.
Hell, I may just save up and get it all done at once, and get a tranny rebuild in the process.
