have a problem
well guys i have yet another problem the other day i decided to race a good friend of mine in him 01 mustang vert and he stayed right there with me the whole time from a launch and well on the highway i pulled only about a half of a car on him he running just catback and cold air and throttle body and over 100k miles , me i have a 5 spd longtubes full exhaust , cams ect., so what i wondering is the if maybe i need injectors of something becasue i have stage 2 cams and springs but i was just wondering the car only has 30 k on it so any suggestions on how i could get more out of her

intall some gears in the rear end 4.10 would be a good chioce they made my car shit and git lol not only that but they are cheap money maybe 500.00 for the gears and bearings and install

It may be the driver and not the car, switch cars one day and see what happens.

yeah i had it tuned .......... i duno see i hade 430's then my rear end took a crap so no i'm running a stocker until i can have gears put in but i didn't know gears made that much of a difference

gears would make a big difference.. but i still think you should have been ahead of him. Get some gears back in that thing!

well i didn't launch all i could just because i didn't think i would have that big of a problem plus brand new rear end so didn't want to screw it up w/ less that 10 miles on it but we are going to run again and see so i will get gears i found a tech that said he would install if i bought the parts , and for a 100.00 so i'm gonna jump on it

well im not to sure see i was into the fox body and such and this is my first newer gt and i traded my fox and some cash for this car we worked together at a ford dealership and he installed all of it so i duno he said they were stage 2's and he also had the heads ported and springs put in also it has full bolt ons and he say it dynoed at 308 rwhp with 112 octane gas does this sound right it ran 7.92 in the 8th mile so

well im gonna suggest driver error becasue no way apretty much stock convertible gt will hang with a sub 12 sec flat car
