Best Wideband???

What's the best wideband out there? When I mean best, I mean most accurate/reliable. Cost and looks are of least importance to me. I will need to be able to datalog the signal.

Innovative Motorsports
AEM
Autometer
PLX

These are the ones I've found. If anyone knows of something better, post it up.

If cost and looks are of little importance, there is nothing that even comes close to the AFM 1000. But cost may be an issue at $1500 with no gauge. The NGK AFX is another decent one for much cheaper. http://shop.airfuelratio.com/product...1&categoryId=2
I like plx and zeitronix the best for 'cheap' widebands.

I have an autometer analog one it's pretty damn accurate too, compared to a tail pipe sniffer

Personally I run an innovate and is quicker response than the dynojet sniffer

haha. cost is of least importance, it's still important though... AFM 1000 is a little pricey.

Trick why do you prefer plx and zeitronix?

I would assume a wideband is a wideband, it depends where you put the sensor for a quicker response.

That AFM 1000 one must be something special if its $1500.

I use the innovative as well. It comes with the software and pin outs to data log as well as simulate front 02s if you didn't want to use them for some reason.

All widebands are plenty fast. I've never seen one that takes more than a half second to respond, most are at least 20hz.

The AFM 1000 is the cheapest lab grade sensor by far. The real deal OEM standards are super huge and cost mega bucks.

This is the 'portable' version.

what's the deal with innovate's new digital signal wideband. Is it that much quicker and better then my AEM UEGO wideband that it would be worth upgrading?

I've used the Innovative LC-1 in the past, and I wasn't totally satisfied with it. It seemed to always have issues. I googled "Innovative LC1 issues" and found that a number of people were having problems with it as well, so I sold it. I just picked up a NGK-AFX with the NTK sensor, so we'll see how that does.

I'm about to buy a wideband and was wondering if someone could post a link to a good site to order from? I also want a triple guage pilar pod but can only find one for 99-02 mustangs and 03-04 cobras.

I just had my car retuned and the innovate LC-1 was reading the same as the tuners. I prefer the analog gauge, makes it a lil easier to read IMO.

Unless you have compared your brand of widebands, to other brands, at the same time, you would never know if its correct or not. IMO you need at least 3 widebands to determine if one is working correctly. That assumes that at least 2 will be very close to each other during the testing.
