Just A Few Questions


1. Would I need to get forged internals before I got heads/cams?

2. What exactly does "stroker" mean? I see 99stang has a stroker in his car what does it do?

3. I want my car to sound like this ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=BWx-XeaNMaY ) at idle lol. I have Magnaflow cats on now, planning on getting longtubes & prochamber in the near future. What else do I need to get it to sound like that AT IDLE?

4. Just put some Progress Springs on my car dropped it 1.7" now I "need" caster cambers. What's the best brand and how much should I expect to pay installed?

Why would he need 20,000 for it to sound like that at idle? All I would think is he needs cams, a nice set of exhaust and maybe some good heads he didn't say he wanted the turbos too

i dont think he would need 20K to sound like that at idle.. You deff going to need heads and a VERY agressive cam... Also LT's and i would do prochamber and MAC catback.
1. no you dont need to get forged internals for new heads and cams.. your internals are good up to around 500hp.. But If you want to want to make your bottom end bullit proof i would forge it.
2. Ok a Stroker kis.. is when your building an engine you can change your rods to have to piston make a longer "stroke" this is just the distance that the piston travels from TDC to BDC.. (top of cylinder to bottom of cylinder).
3. refer to my first statement.
4. As far as i have seen c/c plate are pretty simular all around.. You can go with a set off americanmuscle or steeda.. Its just personal choice..


But then again these are just my opinions so hopefully some more people will post up. Good Luck with your build!

BTW- your exhaust still wont sound exactly like his cause he has cutouts on his exhaust.. which makes it wayyy louder!

sounds like he unplugged a coil or something...

and get the 4bolt C&C plates...

These stage 4 cams say "rough idle" does tht mean the car will be shaking a little or does it mean im gonna have a hard time not stalling? lol

Rough idle means you'll be sounding like you wanted at idle.
And as for the other video he disconnected the EGR

what will disconnecting the EGR do to your car besides make it sound like that? Wouldnt that be a bad thing?
