for the same price of one of those you could buy a fuckin aluminum block

or just a 'glass hood for half the price and not much more weight. I don't see to many racers with c/f hoods.

i think you could probly spend that much money on something that adds more power than you might free up by savin a few lbs...

they do look cool sometimes though...

+1 Exactly theres nothing wrong with a CF hood it's not ricey ( When used correctly). If anything the non fuctional hood scoop and side scoop's on the GT mustang would be considered ricey being that we make fun of ricers for putting things on there car that do nothing for peformance, now I know the scoops are for styling purposes from the factory but it's a far cry from a mach 1 shaker hood! Less weight better E.T!
