upgraded REAR END suggestions?

Alright... I'm about to be nearly 500RWHP at the wheels with my new setup and obviously I want to beef up the rear end...

If you guys were in my shoes what exactly would you buy to be completely safe...

I've been recommended the Richmond Powertrax 8.8 rear and the EV84 Superior axle 31 spline kit... I was told that would replace all the friction disks in my factory differential and i'll also be putting some 3.73's in.

This is what one guy recommended to me, I was wondering what all you guys would do if you were in my shoes...

Thanks

If i was to build up my rear end i would be upgrading to a positrack, upgraded 31 spline axels, gears. I havent really seen anyone gernade our stock housings so i dont think you would have to worry about that. Hopefully someone a little closer to your powerrange will post up for ya. But that is my opinion.

Moser 31 Spline Axles, ARP 3in wheel studs, Detroit True Trac Locker Diff, FRPP 4:30 gears, FRPP diff. cover, welded axle tubes, UPR upper and lower control arms, UPR spherical bushings, and a MMR coilover setup.

my setup will hold allot of power, and i mean allot.

Welded Axle tubes are a must! And I would go with 31 spline axles which would also mean you would need a 31 spline t-loc!

sounds like a great recipe to me for a strong rear end. especially the 3 inch wheel studs and the 31 splind moser or strange axles

That sounds like a lot of cash..! I'm trying to keep it to a minimum. As of now I have FRPP 3.73's (still in BOX) waiting to be installed and then the factory stock GT rear end... I know all of those suggestions would make for a beast rear but i'm sure that's a bit overkill not to mention expensive. Realistically, what exactly what I need to handle 5-600HP (incase i upgrade to the whipple or KB in the future). Trying to save as much as possible, still need intercooler, pumps, resoviors, waterpump, interooler, and full length subframe connectors.

Thanks!

Well if your boosting your car you should already know that cheap isnt the way to go. Mine was probably the simple description but i forgot about the welded tubes.. those will be needed. 01WhiteCobra gave to you best description for a bullit proof rear end. Do it once do it right.

if you're lookin for cheap, just do 31spline shafts and a new traclock...then go from there with studs, have the tubes welded....but i'd probly get the shafts and tlock first...
