Bye Bye to the rods...
And what is the since in running that kind of boost when you are making weak arse numbers like that (for 17#'s that is weak sauce)... I cant see any of the details here at work becuase the site that it is on is blocked here... What kind of poweradder is he using? |

"417hp with 17psi"
Is it a 96-98 or what? Because 17#'s should yeild alot more then that... I will ahve to check it out when I get home... |

My guess is that its not intercooled and that the charge is too hot to create much power!

yeah something is definatly up! It could be his fuel, because he said that it was starved for fuel at 5800 RPM so he wouldnt have optimum fuel cause i a big decrease in power!

Those # are way too low for 17lbs of boost.. Something is deff not right.. And even though his #'s arent that high the extra pressure inside the block, he might as well cut his rods in half and start over.

I can't watch the video from here, so I have to ask... Is the rest of the engine completely stock? I don't think that the 2v heads flow that well in stock form and with most supercharged stock engine stangs, people will run them around 10-12 lbs to be safe and only see 375rwhp... Atleast that's what I've noticed. So adding another 5-7 lbs of boost should put him right where he's at.

aahh.... I can't WAIT to run that much boost when I get a Procharger D-1. 500+ hp no problem.
