It should. If not, it cuts through really easy. I used a saw and it cuts right through. Just a hand saw.

Toss a 3.1" pulley on it if your going to use the intercooler. that will give you around 11#'s of boost.

Or you can scrap the intercooler and put a 3.1 on it and add some meth. You will make around 13-14#'s depending on your exhaust restrictions and it will put down 440-450 RWHP

Yes its a lot but its all in the tune. A friend if mine is making 450 rwhp with 13#'s of boost from a KB on a stock longblock for almost 2 years now and it hasn't skipped a beat

You'll end up sending it off for a rebuild. Here's a link for the impeller speeds. Just type in your info.

I've been over spinning a V1 S and T-trim for years. I over spun my V1 S-trim by 8000 -10,000 rpms for over 4 years put 50k miles on it and not single a problem. I have been over spinning the T-trim by 9k if I take it to 7k rpm for over 2 years now.

Vortech really underrated their S and T-trims. People have been over spinning them ever since they came out.

Stal where about would a 3.12 pulley put me in boost and power range?
I have a 3.125 on my V1-strim with an Anederson power pipe and a CXracing intercooler. I see 10psi@6000rpm.

Airmandavis, what kind of tires do you run at the track? Are you on the stock input shaft?

Yes, I am on the 10 spline, someone told me yesterday that they were running 630rwhp on the 10 spline, so I guess I am fine with it for now. I am running 315/30/18 quick time pros. I haven't got them to hook up well, my best 60' was 1.75. I am currently trying to figure that out.

Okay good. I'm gonna try out these ET Streets. Just curious about the input shaft.

Nice, my set is 26x10.5x15. Getting skinnies for the front, so I'll be looking for 11s come fall. Might try to pick up that N2MB WOT box too. I'd love to launch of a 2 step and build boost, and then powershift and not worry about missing or over revving.

What maf did it come with? If it's blow thru the iac will need to be routed between the maf the throttle body.

Do you have a flange for the wastegate? If so, I say fuck it and try the 2.62 and set the wastegate at 9-10psi. Ive wanted to try the wastegate idea so bad, but dont feel like spending the money lol.

All entry level Vortech SC's shine when overspun including S and the T-trims thats their secret. Vortech underated them and Procharger over rated their entry level SC's like the P1sc and D1sc. The procharger SC's have a steeper step up ratio so u see more psi from a larger pulley but more hp per pound of boost from the vortechs when pushed hard on a free flowing engine.

The major difference between the S-trims and the Si-trims is the impeller design. Which vortech took from 928 motorsports who had been making billet impeller upgrades for the S-trim for about the last 6 years. I remember calling Frank from Vortech about it and talking about me going to a T-trim upgrade He immediately offered me a HD T-trim upgrade for less than half the normal price. Then all of a sudden Vortech started offering the Si trim lol.

I think a S-trim with the 928 Motorsports impeller upgrade might out perform the Si. It's impeller is rated to 60000 rpm and is a sweet piece of CNC work. It increase given boost per RPM by 15% over the stock impeller. I have been trying to talk 928 into developing one for the T-trim the would be one powerful little SC.

The CXracing IC absorbs a lot of boost but they also cool better than a lot of more expensive IC's. A lot of times if your decreasing restriction to increase flow you are also reducing surface area which dosen't allow for as much heat transfer.

Great info, Jive, thanks for sharing. I didn't know a company came up with a different impeller design.
