Mangapacks sound like crap .. thats why I sold my packs .. hated it .. even with long tubes and an x and long tubes and an H .. crap .. they just sound like a very loud .. muffled .. wet fart .. nothing pleasing about them .. they def. don't give you any of that classic mustang sound that MACs or Flows give you .. if you want to sound different go ahead.. the packs will do that .. but if you want to sound good .. and sound like a mustang should .. def. consider somethign else ..

MAC ceramic coated LTs.. 305 ( Thanks for messing up my order MAC )BBK O/R H ... 100 ... MAC flowpaths .. 100 .. total .. 505 shipped installed and sounding like a little bit of heaven ; )

I live in North Carolina and my car is garage kept and never driven in the rain .. plus my exhaust is coated ... its all black .. SS would be a waste of money b/c the high temp race coating does more for it than ceramic or ss ever would ...

all in all .. PACKS FTL !!!!

You'll have to excuse Mez, he's menstrating at the mouth. I have magnapacks with a O/R Bassani X and LOVE them. There are plenty of people on this site that feel the same way. I'm sorry his immitation Saleen didn't have the sound he expected for it, but what can you do? Magnapacks coupled with a H pipe or a prochamber is one of the deepest rumbling exhaust you can get. It sounds just like an old school muscle car. It's very intimidating at a light and I have yet to go to a car meet that all eyes didn't turn to me when I pull in and more than one person always comes to me and asks me what I'm running. I know of at least two Mustang guys that are looking into buying packs after hearing my car. (Which kind of sucks because they're local) I'm not saying Packs are great for everybody or they are going to be everyones favorite when you hear them, but definitely do not sound like a "wet fart" and are worth looking into and checking out a sound clip or two. :wink Also look at Borla Stingers and SLP LM 2 exhaust.

Ok, go get the magnapacks, and when people make fun of you because your car sounds like a$$, do not say I did not try to warn you.

Also, I just scored on two electric dumps. I am so looking forward to getting them installed so when that mustang rolls up with the "Super Bad A$$ packs", I can flip a switch and let them hear nothing but the longtube's roar. In the end, open headers for the win, and yes, open long tubes are the best sounding exhaust on a 4.6 mustang hands down!!!

By the way, I proudly drive a car that I built myself, which was modeled after a car that people go out and pay three times the price for. It just goes to shows that I have brain, and it works quite well! So Neckbone, to clarify, it is a 2004 Mustang GT Saleen clone, not quite an imitation ( P.S. - I went to college, therefore I can spell it correctly) ; ) So please, get it right !!!

Yes, in your own words, "It just goes to shows that I have brain." Before you correct others, make sure your own sh*t is correct, college boy.

+1 on the Magnapacks, or Magnaflows for that matter if you want a quieter system.

SLP and the Borla are nice as well.
Bassani also very nice.
As for Flowmasters, they have their own sound and many people like them as well.
I'm not one of them

Concerning price, SS systems cost money and once you actually see and feel how well made some of these systems are compared to some of the less expensive systems, you will know what the price difference is about.

FWIW I love my Magnaflow catback system and I get compliments all the time.
