You people with 20'' rims

How much of a drop would you need to make your car sit just above the wheel? I wanna get some, but I don't really want it to look out of proportion.

yeah but i wanna get torq thrusts, and they only come in 18 and 20, and 18...just looks too small. 19 would be idea, but yeah.

IMHO I would just get 18's, for the fact that you have a less chance of having to modify anything for them to fit, and besides real big rims don't look good on most Mustangs imo.

The question was not do you like them but what would be the clearance level for them to fit nicely under the fender.............I think 1.2 inches is the limit I'm not sure maybe less, but if you want 20'' rims get them and then test fit them and you will have your exact measurements some even go 20's on the rear 19's in the front so look into that, I think it would look good!

I would jsut go with 18s...

They will look better, be cheaper, and will not take away as much power from ya...Alot less rotating mass...

19's would not be fun...It is very hard to find tires for a decent price in 19's...

well the rubber on there would make it a 22'' diameter, most of you probably have a 20'' 21'' diameter with such big tires anyways, so it really wouldnt be losing that much power.

Its the weight that causes the most power loss...20's are heavy...Unless you drop a bank on a set...

i'll have to drop 2000 just on brakes, everything in canada is expensive, so i'd have to even for a set of 18's its all too expensive anyways, but if you have too small of rims or too big of rubber, it can take away from the look of it all

They dont have the ones you are talking about for the 99-04 but I know of a steeda wheel that you dont see all that often that I think is one of the best looking mustang rims out there...

STEEDA Ultra-Lite II

Chrome

Satin

well im also trying to get a staggered offset, not sure what size youd need to go with to actually be flush with the side of the vehicle, but i wanted something like that idea. im guessing 10.5 in the rear

Well then just buy a set of deep dish bullets or fr500s...

17x10.5 Bullets

17x10.5 FR500's

I think they would look great on your car...And they would be cheaper to keep tires on it...You could go with anthrecite, black, chrome, hypercoated or even polished with your car...White cars are versatile like that...

get the 18's and drop it, it will look way better! 20's on a sports car doesnt look right.

20s look stupid on a mustang - on other cars they are fine... the best setup is 18s in front and 19's in back...
